i moved to detroit in 2012 to attend college for creative studies, where i began my education as an illustration major. in one of my foundation classes, i learned how to weld, and was immediately romanced by the way my flame moved metal. i immediately switched into crafts, with my focus being metalsmithing. after learning how to solder, i knew that i wanted to make jewelry as well as weird little trinkets, or objets de vertu.

since graduating, i have dabbled in many art forms. i continue to draw, started collaging, and even joined a band. i have worked in a manufacturing company that casts jewelry from artists around the globe. now, i work at a independent woman owned business in ferndale, mi, where i help fabricate pieces and set stones.
